How is the E-Ink screen powered, and will it drain my phone's battery?
The screen is powered wirelessly by your phone's built-in NFC. It only uses a tiny amount of power for the few seconds it takes to change the image. Once your design is displayed, it uses zero power to remain on the screen, so it has no noticeable impact on your phone's daily battery life.
Does the case have its own battery or need to be charged?
No. The NovixAnd case is completely battery-free. It does not contain a battery and never needs to be plugged in or charged. It draws all the power it needs for image transfers directly from your phone via NFC.
How do I change the image on the case?
You can customize the display using our dedicated mobile app. Just select or create your design in the app, and then use your phone's NFC function to wirelessly project the new image onto the case in seconds.
How protective is this case against drops?
The case offers superior drop protection. It is constructed from premium, shock-absorbent TPU and a tough tempered glass screen cover. It has been rigorously tested to protect your iPhone from everyday bumps and accidental drops.
